ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES HOLDS FIRST RESEARCH COLLOQUIUM
The Philippine Heart Center resonates the idea of a holistic patient-friendly encounter in a government hospital that provides excellent cardiovascular care. The Administrative Services took the challenge by heart and initiated ways to enhance the knowledge, attitude and skills of the employees, putting a structure into research data. Hence, theResearch Colloquium was conceptualized during the Administrative Service Strategic Planning in October 2014.
The 1st Administrative Research Colloquium was held on November 14, 2014 which showcased the researches of the different divisions of the Admin Service. A timely response to the PHC's development, growth and sustainability, as it ushers in the forty glorious years of service excellence in cardiovascular healthcare.
The keynote speaker was Dr. Olivia F. De Leon who delivered a lecture on "Healthcare Advancement through Administrative Service's Education and Research." The panel of reactors was composed of Dr. Leticia Atienza, Ms. Imelda Rodriguez and Dr. De Leon, who all gave their valuable feedback to further enhance the research studies presented.
The first Research Colloquium gave a fresh perspective on institutional growth, through the education on research methodology, made an impact on the Administrative Services.
